Zelda Oot Valentine template by EruwaedhielElleth Zelda Oot Valentine template by EruwaedhielElleth
A piece of heart to give your valentine!

Here's the template for my Zelda valentines card. It's pieced together from textures out of the game Ocarina of Time, and a pop-up card template I found online. To make this, download and print out both pieces (scale to fit and 8x11" page) and follow the basic instructions from the original tutorial, remembering to score the the joins in the top part of the card that makes the chest lid as well. glue the inside piece blank sides together to the outside piece, (don't get glue on the pop-up part) wait for it to dry completely, then fold the top flap down and the bottom flap up. Mine had trouble staying completely shut, so I made two tiny paperclips out of a piece wire to hold the top flap down until someone's ready to open it.

The top part of the card template is blank, so you can write a valentines message for your own hero or princess. :)

Be sure to download the file for full resolution images!

This is great, thank you for making it! I I just wanted to say that I also cut out a bunch of little rupees to use as confetti (a la the original tutorial). Happy geeky V Day!

This is so cute :D And to make it recordable, where it actually made the chest opening sound would be such a cool idea!

Thank you!

I was really disappointed I wasn't able to get the components to make it play sound this time. I'll have to try again someday, just for the fun of it.

This is amazing! XD I've always loved the legend of Zelda and would be giddy if someone went through the effort to make me a card like this! :)

Thank you! I'm hoping my boyfriend enjoys getting the card as much as I enjoyed making it.
