Custom Sonic Screwdriver

A personalized sonic screwdriver I put together out of some stuff I had lying around the house. The fun part is that it really IS a screwdriver! The base was made out of one of those little compact carry screwdrivers, the bits are stored in the handle, and the end is magnetic, which was perfect for making a removable top! Add to that a small light, a faceted crystal bead for the tip, a clear tube that used to hold glitter, and various pieces of hardware and jewelry findings, and I have an elegant and functional design worthy of any Time lady!

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find a sound circuit small enough to fit, and don't know how to get one short of buying and cannibalizing an official sonic toy for it's parts, which is too expensive for me at the moment, but might be something to work on at a later date. (The actual TV prop doesn't have one, so I suppose it's all right for now. ) I'm also working on a small pen to fit into the screwdriver tip, so I'll have a flashlight/screwdriver/writing device all in one!
