Tsumami wyvern

This was sort of an experiment to see if I was even capable of a kanzashi dragon, rather than something I made with a finished goal in mind. I had a lot of fun doing it, but it was a tricky design to figure out! It's mostly habotai silk, although the horns are scraps of a polyester fabric. I originally was going for a four-legged dragon, but by the time I had the back legs figured out, I decided that was quite enough for the moment and just left it as is. Lazy? yep, but I can tackle four legs another day.

I really don't know what to do with it, it's about 4" by 4", so a bit large for a hair piece that isn't maiko-style. It could fit over an ear though, or maybe be a very large brooch. For now, it's room decoration, at least until I have a better idea for it or get tired of it.
